Our Data Centers
Ensuring that our technology is constantly available is very important to us. Our facilities are best in class and provide the environment that allows us the confidence to know that we will keep you in business.
Monitoring
- Manned 24 x 7 x 365, our Operation and Control Center (OCC) provides the facilities to monitor all Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), fire suppression systems and security systems onsite by specially trained personal
- Critical airflows, temperature, humidity, power consumption early warning fire identification and suppression systems, generator, chillers, CRAC/CRAH Units and all security systems are monitored in real-time from the NOC
Security
- 24 x 7 Card key access
- 24 hour on-site staffed NOC
- Intercoms and security cameras
- Closed-circuit television and video monitoring
- Onsite security provided by a combination of biometric hand scanners, electronic card control systems, hi-resolution motion sensitive digital video surveillance systems and onsite personnel
- Access into the facility is granted only after positive identification (both manual and bio-metric) has been established
- Movement throughout the facility is further tracked by usage of electronic card keys
HVAC
- Air conditioning and air handling services for our facility are provided by a series of fully redundant data center specific closed loop chiller systems
- The data center floor is fed by individual, redundant Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC/CRAH) units
- Kept at 72 degrees and 45% humidity at all times
- Critical airflows are monitored for hydrogen at all times, and temperature and humidity sensors are placed throughout our facility to provide early warning in the event of a system failure
Power
- Multiple power delivery units (PDU)
- Multiple UPS'
- Multiple backup generators
- Battery backup with chargers
- ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) and ATO (Automated Throw-Over) to switch between service grids and generators
Communications
- Optically Neutral facility fed by two separate fiber vaults
- All fiber enters the facility via two divergent routes and into a secure fiber pop
- Individual carriers then hand-off the circuits and other facilities in a specially designed Meet-Me Room adjacent to the fiber pop
